Lead A Community Program
About
The Community Teen Wellness Program is geared towards improving teens’ overall health and well-being by focusing on the six pillars of health: diet, exercise, sleep, stress management, addictions, and social relationships. By being educated and engaged with these pillars throughout this eight-week program, teens will be empowered to be accountable for their own health; thus, they will benefit their overall physical, mental, and emotional well-being, including their performance in school, habit formation, vitality, and balance in life. Every session, valuable insights from the Teen Lifestyle Medicine Handbook are shared, aimed at helping young adults improve their health and overall well-being. To make the material more accessible, it is presented in the form of a slideshow, accompanied by a fun activity that corresponds with the topic at hand.
